Raido has held leading positions in the border intelligence task force of the Estonian Border-guard department, where for 8 years, he contributed to developing national border regulations besides fighting cross border crime. Deep experience from the perspective of law gives him honed skills to intermediate today’s regulatory issues between crypto service providers and regulators. He was a partner and the head of AML and compliance of crypto exchange swapin.com until the end of 2020 when he decided to become independent. He then delivered impartial input from market participants on the table of lawmakers in Estonia as the president of Estonian Web3 Chamber.
Raido is a big believer in Web3 and blockchain technologies. He preaches internationally the necessity of solving the problem of anonymity on a global level while giving back personal privacy in fintech and blockchain industries. “The biggest problem today is leaving behind a digital clone of ourselves wherever we open an account.
