Christian Wermke (aka VistaVagabond) is a journalist, photographer, and digital artist from Germany.
He is the founder of the digital art platform VistaVagabond.xyz, where he showcases his photography and AI art that combines original pictures with the limitless power of artificial intelligence.
Working since 2012 for Germany’s biggest financial daily, “Handelsblatt,” he has served as the Italy correspondent in Rome since 2020. Since 2022, he has also covered Web3, Crypto, and NFTs, building the first newspaper-driven NFT community in Europe as founder and community manager. The “Handelsblatt NFT Club” has proven to be a vivid tool for attracting a new customer base to a traditional but progressive newspaper.
Christian has moderated several events in Germany and Italy and is a speaker and showcased artist at NFT.NYC 2024. Recently, he was part of the #ArtistsforCharity drop 2023, curated by the renowned curator Creo.
